Kimberly Ayres is a California-based designer living in San Francisco. Dubbed one of the Top Ten Young Designers to Watch by Domino magazine, Kimberly continues to define her work by her ability to merge classic design with bohemian elegant style. Kimberly creates personal, highly individual, and notably comfortable spaces with her laidback sense of chic.
After practicing law for a number of years, Kimberly took a bold step to pursue her passion for design by heading back to school to study painting, antiques and interior architecture. After completing studies at International Fine Arts in Miami and at UCLA in Los Angeles, Kimberly jumped head first into an apprenticeship with internationally renowned designer Kelly Wearstler, and continued her development with renowned design firm, Michael Lee Collection in Malibu. In 2000, Kimberly launched Kimberly Ayres Interior Design in Los Angeles where she quickly established a notable clientele and reputation for deftly mixing eras and cultures.
Kimberly and Kimberly Ayres Home have been highlighted in national publications and Kimberly has been honored to participate with an elite group of designers in San Francisco's annual Decorator Showcase House.
